Use gentle body cleansers that help exfoliate the skin and brighten it. 
Incorporate these ingredients into your routine: vitamin C derivatives, niacinamide, mandelic acid, Kojic acid, AHA’s, BHA’s, and retinoids. 
Use sunscreen when exposed to sunlight. Sunlight is the main cause for most dark spots on the skin. 
Do not use any homemade or DIY products as they may worsen the case.
